Tammy
WangTammy brings over 18 years of competing and teaching experiences to Farmington Tennis Club. She was a top-ranked junior in Nebraska , which also included high rankings with the USTA-MVTA section and on the national level. Tammy graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2001, where she was a four year letter winner on the team, team captain her senior year and awarded the team's Most Valuable Player in 2001. Tammy was also the Student-Assistant Coach for the Women's Team at Minnesota from 2001-2002. Tammy began coaching in 1998, and has taught at clubs all over the Midwest including: Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota and most recently, the Sports Club of Novi . She has worked with players of all ages and levels. She was also coach for the SEMTA Competition Training Center and is currently Assistant Coach for the SEMTA Girl's 18 and under Marian Wood Baird Cup Team (formerly Wightman Cup). |
