Dan is our Director of Tennis at Travis Pointe Country Club and is a certified USPTA professional with over 20 years of experience in the tennis business.  He has an extensive history of working with players of all ages and abilities.  Dan Graduated from Ferris State University's Professional Tennis Management program in 1990 and has spent most of his career in the Flint area teaching at Genesee Valley Racquet Club.  In 1996, he started the Extreme Tennis Company, which provided instructional programs to both adult and children around the Flint area.  His program started from scratch and grew to over 160 participants in 2007.  His company name came from Dan's eagerness to take each and every client "to the extreme" on the court, getting the most out of their abilities. 

Dan also has plenty of experience coaching as he lead both the Flint Powers Varsity Boys Team from 1995-1999 and the Grand Blanc Varsity Girls Team from 1996-1998.  His two team's combined record was 70 wins and 15 losses.  It was during this coaching tenure that Dan earned Regional Coach of the Year in both 1998 & 1999.

Along with running plenty of adult travel teams and leagues, he has trained and developed many youth over the years, some of which have gone on to play competitively in college.  He prides himself in being a versatile teaching professional who is effective with all levels of play.
